Welcome to the USS Edward McDonnell Association web site. This site is dedicated to the officers and men of DE/FF 1043. Although the "Eddy Mac" is gone, we can keep her memory alive by helping to update and expand this brand new venture.

You can contribute by submitting stories & photos, (especially documented or delineated photos that tell the story behind the picture).

If you are not listed in our directory, please use the Contact Page (not the GuestBook) to let us hear from you . We will get you listed and make sure you get all of the various updates. When you get the directory and realize that there is someone who should be there that is not listed in any of the sections, please let us know everything about that person such as, name, where are they now (if known), or where did they come from, civilian schools, dates, etc.  and we will try to track them down to get them on board. Please be as detailed as possible. Just telling us there was a Yeoman named "Smitty" doesn't help much. but if you said there was a Yeoman named Bob Smith from Pocatello, Idaho, who went to East Overshoe High School  60'-64' or graduated from Dimwitty College in 65', well thats a different story.

Another important point, if you have changed your address, phone number,or email lately, please let us know via the web site so that we can keep the directory up to date and you don't miss out on "vital" information. Please remember to use the "Contact Us" page instead of the "Guestbook Page" in order that we get all of your "vitals" and can respond to you.
